What ingredients are used to make the cakes and desserts?
We use high quality products, for example British Lion eggs, Callebaut Belgian chocolate, flour from English mills like Marriage’s (The Master Millers) and fresh and local fruits. Our most common frostings and fillings are buttercream cheese, mascarpone, double cream, chocolate ganache, truffle, meringue, pastry cream and Swiss meringue buttercream. We do not usually use buttercream frosting, fondant icing or sugar paste.
Do you have any sugar-free or diabetic-friendly options?
Even though our products are not extremely sweet given the ingredients we use for the frostings and fillings, we currently do not have any sugar-free or diabetic-friendly products.
If you need a cake made with less sugar, let us know and we will take it into account.
Do you have vegan options?
Of course! Our vegan chocolate cake is delicious, and both its chocolate icing and the cake contain no animal products or animal-derived ingredients.
Are any of the cakes or desserts gluten-free or lactose-free?
We can make non dairy alternatives and use flours without gluten with some of our products but all our home-made cakes and desserts are made in an environment where nuts, eggs, milk, soya, sesame, and gluten are used. For this reason, unfortunately we are not able to guarantee that our products will be free from traces of these allergens.
